Refund Policy
General Refund Conditions
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the “Law on Consumers Right Protection of the Republic of Armenia”, “Civil Codex of the Republic of Armenia” and other regulations regarding consumer rights in contracts concluded with European Research Agency Foundation (hereafter: Foundation), any customer who has purchased services online from the www.euragen.org website belonging to Foundation has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days and to be refunded.
A distance contract is defined as a contract for the supply of services concluded between a trader and a consumer, within a system of sales organized by the trader, which exclusively uses one or more means of remote communication before and at the conclusion of this contract.
The customer has the right to unilaterally terminate the distance contract within 14 calendar days, without penalties and without citing any reason.
The 14-day return policy applies only to customers who have purchased services online from the www.euragen.org website and does not apply to customers who have received services within 14 calendar days. In case the consumer already received the services in 14 days and applies for a refund, the problem is solved within bilateral negotiations or in accordance with the legislation of Armenia.
Obligations of the Foundation in Case of Withdrawal
The Foundation refunds all amounts received from the consumer, including, where applicable, delivery costs, without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which they are informed of the consumer’s decision to withdraw from the contract, in accordance with legal provisions.
The refund is made via bank transfer as provided by the consumer, without the consumer bearing any commission fees related to the reimbursement.
However, the Foundation is not obligated to refund any additional costs if the consumer has explicitly chosen a different type of delivery than the standard delivery offered.
Consumer Obligations in Case of Withdrawal
The consumer bears only the direct costs related to refunding unless the Foundation agrees to cover those costs or has failed to inform the consumer that they are responsible for these costs.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following cases:
- Service contracts after the complete performance of the service, if execution began with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they lose their right to withdraw once the service is fully performed.
- Supply of services whose price depends on financial market fluctuations beyond the Foundation’s control, which may occur during the withdrawal period.
- Supply of services made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly customized.
- Contracts where the consumer has explicitly requested the Foundation to conduct a special service contract.
- Contracts concluded in an auction or through procurement competition.
