European Research Agency Foundation – EURAGEN (hereafter: Foundation) respects the privacy of all users and event participants. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data in compliance with Armenian legislation and international agreements.

2. Collected Information

We may collect the following types of data:

  • Personal identification details (name, email, phone number, company name);
  • Payment details (processed securely);
  • Event participation information;
  • Technical data (IP address, cookies, browsing behavior).

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The collected data is used for:

  • Event registration and organization;
  • Communication and updates related to events;
  • Issuing invoices and payment confirmations;
  • Website performance improvements.

4. Data Protection Measures

The Foundation implements security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. When processing personal data, the Foundation takes the necessary legal, organizational and technical measures to protect personal data, in particular from unlawful or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, provision, dissemination of personal data, as well as other unlawful actions against the user’s personal data, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of Armenia on personal data protection.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Personal data is not shared with third parties except:

  • When legally required;
  • With payment processors and service providers under confidentiality agreements.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for service provision or legal compliance. The Foundation does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites and/or mobile applications to which the user may access through the Foundation’s existing links.

7. User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Request access to their data;
  • Request correction or deletion of data;
  • Withdraw consent for data processing.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be resolved through negotiations. If the dispute is not resolved through negotiations within 15 calendar days, it shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
